Maria Padovan - Founder
Maria Padovan founded ICS in 1998.
Born in Italy, Maria Padovan has a master’s degree in education. She worked as an educator for the Italian school of Montevideo, Uruguay for a period of 20 years. Maria Padovan is a biology teacher. She speaks five languages and therefore, knows the importance of learning different languages from an early age.
Maria founded ICS bearing in mind the education for the men and women of the future. She believes that it is extremely important for children to have Christian values. She also acknowledges the importance for children to be able to speak more than two languages so they can be part of the globalization in our world. When Maria Padovan founded ICS her idea was to create an environment with happy children with high self esteem and values.
She has created a method to teach languages (PADOVAN METHOD). She is very proud that ICS is the FIRST private italian school in Miami. |
